About Sterilization Tubing
Generally utilized for instrument sterilization, though our Dry Heat tubing can also double as a protective barrier for sealing off equipment tubing in dental clinics and tattoo parlors to prevent cross contamination.
We offer 2 types of tubing for use in steam autoclaves and also dry heat / chemical vapour autoclaves.
Dry Heat Nylon Tubing is a clear, strong puncture resistant, reusable autoclave tubing available in four different widths that can be cut to accept any instrument length. A strong, reliable seal is formed when used in conjunction with a heat sealer. Nylon tubing is available specifically for use in Dry Heat and Chemical Vapour sterilizers.
Available with or without a pre-printed sterilization cycle indicator.
AdvanTech also carries a number of Sterilization Pouches for convenient, self-sealing of instruments for sterilization.
Additional Uses:
Sterilization tubing can be a cost effective method to package medical instruments for easy sterilization. In addition to sterilization uses, our dry heat tubing can be used in other ways in some clinical environments.
For example, some dental offices and tattoo shops are using nylon tubing as a protective barrier sleeve to thread over machine power lines and hoses. Using tubing in this way can be an excellent method to prevent the cross contamination of surfaces from blood, saliva etc. This adds extra protection for powered instrument lines, such as suction instruments, powered dental handpieces and tattoo gun power cables.
